The Center’s next monthly Five-Hour Meditation Service is this coming Saturday, July 21. The service goes from 9 AM to 2 PM, with a break at 12:10. Here is why one devotee attends this service: “I attend the five-hour meditation because it provides an opportunity to spend more time on the techniques in an unhurried manner, allowing me to go more deeply in my meditation.”
Are you ready for the special events after the Readings Service next Sunday, July 22? Here’s what’s going on: First, we will have our Annual Ice Cream Social and, second, our Great GiveAway. The Social Committee will provide a selection of ice creams and toppings for the Ice Cream Social and salad and bread.
The Great GiveAway is a possessions redistribution program, and here’s how it works: Please bring the items you no longer want or need before church on the day of the GiveAway and put them on tables set up in the patio area. Then, at noon, feel free to take whatever items you want or need. To make this as fair as possible, please do not take any items before the Readings Service ends. After the event, you can either take your leftover GiveAways home or they will be donated to a thrift store.
Commemorative services for Mahavatar Babaji will be conducted on Wednesday, July 25, with a Meditation Service at 7 and the Commemorative Service at 8 PM. Please bring a favorite flower and a donation in an envelope as expressions of your love and loyalty to the great guru and his teachings.
Our Sunday Afternoon Meditation Service goes from 1 to 4 PM today.
