The purpose of the Young Adults Group (Ages 18-39) is to engage in fellowship and informal conversations regarding meditation and experiences on the spiritual path as well as any topics of interest. We usually meet the last Sunday of the month, and participants are asked to bring a brown paper bag lunch and water if so desired. Other Sundays of the month you can usually find a few of us chatting during the social that follows the morning service. You are most welcome to join us. Periodically, there are group trips to the Berkeley Temple and other unique events whose purpose it is to help foster spiritual friendships with other like-minded young adults. From the writings of Paramahansa Yogananda:

“To commune daily with god in deep meditation, and to carry his love and guidance with you into all your dutiful activities, is the the way that leads to permanent peace and happiness.”
